"Smart Music"

As of late I have begun to put on a cd of classical music in the boys bedroom in the evening after tucking them in to help them go to sleep. I guess I must have somewhere in this process introduced the idea that this kind of music makes you smart....


Chase: (with a hint of sassiness in his voice) Mom, isn't it right that kids are smarter than grown ups?

Me: ummm, why do you say that?

Chase: (with that sing songy, sarcasm) because we go to schhooo-oo-l and grown u-ups do-on't.

Me: sure, I guess in that sense, you can say that, but....most grown ups went to school too.

Chase: and...because we listen to "smart music" at bedtime.
