This culture is crazy about candy! I try to monitor the rotting of my children's teeth...
The stash above are the winnings from one weekend of birthday party pin~atas and goody bags.
We minimized what we would save for our eating and the remaining...the stuff in the pic above....shhhhh....we recycle our candy and put that stuff in our own kids pin~atas!!!
The recycling trend transcends culture!!!

I obviously have been poor at sending you comments. I do read ALL of your blogs and love it. Aren't other cultures so funny about candy? In Fiji, my mom would sometimes bring candy on visits and you'd think the world had gone mad, I mean parents fighting over candy the way the kids would, it was pointless to bring "grown up gifts" just bring ten bags of candy and share it with kids and aduls alike. . .I'm assuming this all ended up in the shark Pinata :)
